The debut album, released entirely without vocals. Eight instrumental pieces arranged like a tarot spread, moving through occult reference points: Ace of Wands, Two of Cups, Moonchild, Uranus Rising, Elixir of Life, The Serpent, Revelation.
The title comes from ancient Egyptian — Neru Pehut, meaning “Shepherd of the Royal Anus,” the Pharaoh’s proctologist. A title that sounds, as intended, like a spurious Masonic sex magick degree. The album treats its source material with the same combination of reverence and absurdity. Vocal melody is carried throughout by a synthesizer saxophone, and the mix is deliberately bass-heavy — both choices made in direct homage to the title character.
